Astronomy is the oldest among natural sciences. Babylonians recorded position of planets, times of eclipses around 1600 BC. This along with some other records of astronomical observations are among the earliest written documents indicating man’s enthusiasm towards the heavens.
Iran's amateur astronomy community is rapidly growing. More and more people join the sky watchers participating in numerous workshops and tours in different astronomy hot spots scattered in Iran. And here on the international Astronomy day, the community has held this exhibition hoping to have more people join their society.
