INGREDIENTS:

8 Eggs
1/2 Cup Cocoa Powder
1 tsp Vanilla Bean Paste
1 Tbsp Baking powder
1/2 Cup Oil
1/2 Cup Water
1 & 1/2 Cup Plain Flour
1 & 1/2 Cup Sugar

PREPARATION
1. Mix together the plain flour and cocoa powder and sift it 3 times. On the 3rd time add the baking powder too. Leave that aside as you prepare your wet ingredients.
2. separate the egg whites from the yolk and whisk the egg white for 5 minutes. Then add the sugar in 4 sections and as you are adding the sugar whisk it for another 5 minutes.
3. Once you have added the sugar mix in the egg yolk - adding one every 30 seconds. After the egg yolk whisk in the vanilla bean paste.
4. Now that your wet ingredients are also ready - take a new bowl to whisk together the oil and water and then add the egg mixture in sections. Once that is well-combined fold in the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder and baking powder).
5. Pour the cake mixture into a cake pan and bake for 50 - 60 minutes at 180 Celsius.
