INGREDIENTS:
4 Cups - Flour
2 - Eggs
1 Cup - Milk
1/2 tsp - Salt
4 tsp - Yeast
1/3 Cup - Sugar
1/2 Cup - Butter
Filling:
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Chopped Walnut
1 & 1/2 tbsp - Cinnamon
1/2 Cup Oil
PREPARATION
1. Mix in a bowl the yeast, some of the sugar, some of the flour and half of the milk warmed up to activate the yeast. leave it for 10 minutes.
2. Once the 10 minutes have gone by add in the melted butter, eggas and remaining milk.
3. Grab a bowl and add in the flour, sugar and salt. Mix in the wet ingredients and knead the dough for 10 mins. coat a bowl with oil and place in the dough. Let this rest for an hour.
4. Once the hour has gone by section it into 4 equel sections and roll into a bowl and rest for 15 minutes.
5. While the dough is resting take this time to create the filling. Mix in the sugar, walnuts and cinnamon.
6. Once the 4 dough bowls has rested roll them out into circles and brush on the oil, then sprinkle on the filling. Repeat this step until you have placed on the last piece and start cutting and designing the bread. Once you have finished designing let the bread rest for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes create a mixture of milk and an egg yolk and brush on the bread.
7. Bake for 30 - 35 minutes on 170 Celsius
