The Province of Zanjan lies 298 km north-west of Tehran. It is filled with rich historical sites. In this feature, we will visit two unique places, first a village where the remains of an old castle that was inhabited by the Medes dynasty. Then we will visit one of the oldest Masques in Zanjan that contains five individual prayer niches.
