Shahid Motahhari School is one of the historical monuments in the capital city of Tehran. It is located in Baharestan Square. The structure was built upon the order of Mirza Hasankhan Sepahsalar, the Chancellor of Nasereddin Shah during the Qajar era. In the past, it was names Sepahsalar or Naseri School, but later on it was named after Ayatullah Motahhari, an Iranian scholar, cleric and politician.
Motahhari School was built based on the Persian architectural style. Plasterworks and tile works impart a pleasing sight to the complex.
