This annual event is the largest gathering of Armenians in Iran and it has been happening for more than 60 years. Although the event is mainly related to religion and Christianity (day of Saint Thaddeus) and it is happening at the Saint Thaddeus monastery in the North West of Iran but it has many social aspects too. It is like a huge camping event where Armenian families and friends from different cities of Iran spend 3 days together and have a lot of fun!
