INGREDIENTS:

Rice Filling:

500g minced meat
8 Bell Peppers
Rice
Coriander
Onion
Spring onion
split pea
salt
black pepper
turmeric
walnut

Sauce:

Garlic
Tomatoe Sauce
Olive OIl
Vinegar
1L Water
Brown Sugar

PREPARATION
1.Soak rice and split pea in water 1 hour before cooking.
2.Cut open the pepper and carve out the inside.
3.Place the soaked rice, and split pea in separate pots with water. Add in 1 tsp salt in each pot and leave them for 5 minutes then drain after.
4.In a separate pot place in the; oil, oinion, garlic, turmeric, black pepper, minced meat and salt. Leave for 5 minutes and add in the corriander, spring opnion, split peas, rice and chopped walnuts.
5.Set aside to prepare sauce.
6.For the sauce take another pan, and put in the oil, garlic, tomato sauce, turmeric, black pepper, brown sugar, vinegar and water.
7. Stir the water for 1 minute and then bring together the peppers, rice and sauce.
8.Place the filled peppers in a deep pot and pour in the sauce. Place the pot on low heat for 1 and a half hours.
9. After one and a half hours it is ready to serve.
