8K Snowing Walking in Tehran. IRAN - Valiasr Street

Vali Asr Street or Pahlavi Street is the longest tree-lined street in Tehran and also the longest street in the Middle East with a length of 18 kilometers, which starts from the Railway Square in the south of Tehran and reaches Tajrish Square in the Shemiran area in the north of Tehran. Its original name was "Special Pahlavi Road" and it was called "Pahlavi Street" before the 1357 revolution. After the victory of the revolution, this street was renamed to "Mossadegh Street", but after about two and a half years and following the events of Khordad 1360 and the elimination of the opponents of the Islamic Republic, this street was officially renamed to "Wali Asr Street".

خیابان ولی‌عصر یا خیابان پهلوی بلندترین خیابانِ درختکاری شده تهران و همچنین بلندترین خیابان خاورمیانه با درازای ۱۸کیلومتر است که از میدان راه‌آهن در میانهٔ جنوبی تهران آغاز شده و به میدان تجریش در منطقهٔ شمیران در شمال تهران می‌رسد. نام اولیهٔ آن «جادهٔ مخصوص پهلوی» بود و تا پیش از انقلاب ۱۳۵۷، «خیابان پهلوی» نامیده می‌شد. پس از پیروزی انقلاب این خیابان به «خیابان مصدق» تغییر نام یافت، اما پس از حدود دو سال و نیم و در پی وقایع خرداد ۱۳۶۰ و حذف مخالفان جمهوری اسلامی، این خیابان به صورت رسمی به «خیابان ولی‌عصر» تغییر نام یافت.
