Cartoon Animation Tutorial - Part 1: Body Rigging

Using only After Effects and a handy script you can create awesome character animation. This tutorial covers the body rigging process.

NOTE ***There seems to be a segment missing at 20:55.
First, Parent the Head comp to the chest layer. Then parent the chest layer to the pelvis.

Rigging the Chest: Select the Chest layer, Pelvis layer, & Chest Null (In that order) then click IK Creation in the Duik panel. Ensure the anchor points are correct. (Chest layer anchor should be where it meets the pelvis. Pelvis should be on the butt.)

Then Parent the Feet controllers to the Master. Hands controllers to the Chest. Chest to the Pelvis Null, and Pelvis to the Master.***
