IRAN - Ardabil Astara Road (Heyran Road) - Scenic Drive - Driving Tour 4K

Heyran is the name of a rural village in Astara city located in Gilan province. This village is located 30 km away from Astara city. Heyran consists of three villages: Lower Heyran , Middle Heyran and Upper Heyran . Heyran region is one of the functions of the border town of Bandar Astara in the eastern part of Gilan province with an area of ​​2,200 hectares, of which 1,200 hectares belong to individuals and 1,000 hectares belong to national resources.
One of the most important tourist attractions of this village is that it is located on the Astara-Nemin road. This pass, which is one of the political and geographical protection areas of Gilan province, together with the villages of Vanehbin, Haji Amir Bala and Haji Amir Bayan, on one side overlooks the mountains covered with thick forests and on the other side overlooks a not so deep valley through which Astara River passes through. This river determines the border of Gilan province of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Most of the time, this pass is under a cover of fog, and its valleys and foothills are naturally covered with flowers and forest and pasture plants. However, this pass is not very high and its highest point is only about 1500 meters above the open water level; In fact, the main cause of the almost permanent fog of Heyran Pass is the humidity of the Caspian Sea, not the high altitude of this pass.

حیران نام روستایی تالش نشین و ییلاقی در شهرستان آستارا واقع در استان گیلان است. این روستا در فاصله ۳۰ کیلومتری شهر آستارا قرار دارد. حیران از سه روستای حیران سفلی، حیران وسطی و حیران علیا تشکیل شده‌است. منطقه حیران از توابع شهرستان مرزی بندر آستارا در منتهی‌الیه شرق استان گیلان با ۲۲۰۰ هکتار مساحت است که از این میزان ۱۲۰۰ هکتار به مستثنیات اشخاص و ۱۰۰۰ هکتار به منابع ملی تعلق دارد.
از مهمترین جاذبه‌های گردشگری این روستا، است که در مسیر راه ارتباطی آستارا - نمین قرار گرفته‌است. این گردنه که به همراه روستای ونه‌بین، حاجی امیر بالا و حاجی امیر پایین از مناطق حفاظتی سیاسی و جغرافیایی استان گیلان می‌باشد، از یک طرف مشرف به کوه‌هایی است که پوشیده از جنگل‌های انبوه‌است و از سویی مشرف به دره‌ای نه چندان عمیق که از میان آن آستارا رود عبور می‌کند. این رود تعیین‌کننده مرز استان گیلان ایران و جمهوری آذربایجان است.
این گردنه در بیشتر زمانها در زیر پوششی از مه قرار دارد و از نظر طبیعی دره‌ها و کوهپایه‌های آن، پوشیده از گل‌ها و گیاهان جنگلی و مرتعی هستند. با این وجود این گردنه چندان مرتفع نیست و ارتفاع بلندترین نقطهٔ آن از سطح آبهای آزاد تنها حدود ۱۵۰۰ متر است؛ در واقع علت اصلی مه تقریباً دائمی گردنهٔ حیران رطوبت دریای خزر است، نه ارتفاع زیاد این گردنه.
