Twelve friends climbing Mount Damavand, Iran 5610m in November 2016. Weather forecast for the week was bad, wind speed 70km/h and cloudy. Impossible to reach summit with that kind of weather. So, from our hometown we already decided not go to summit. However, since we already had flight tickets, we plan to trek up to basecamp and come back, NOT to climb up to Summit. From day one of trekking day, the weather was bad as forecasted. But good enough to reach basecamp at 4200m. After two days at basecamp they were ready to descend as there was no possibility to go to summit.

7.00am 21st November 2016, suddenly the weather was clear and calm. No wind, blue sky. They feel so lucky. This is the day and they start climbing to summit. The rest was history.
