Savadkouh is accessible through several routes from Tehran however the best way to get there from the capital is from the Firouzkouh road. More than a hundred kilometers towards the north the cold and semi arid climate of Firouzkouh gradually gives its place to green pastures and small pine forests and as you proceed towards the heart of central Alborz forests become even wider and greener.
