TEHRAN 2022: Walking Tour in Imam Khomeini Street - IRAN 4K UHD 60fps

Imam Khomeini Street is one of the central streets of Tehran. This is an east-west street and ends from the east to Imam Khomeini Square (artillery) and from the west to the Imam Memorial Highway. This street is named after the first leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyyed Ruhollah Khomeini.

During the Qajar period, this street was first called Marizkhaneh Street and then Bagh Shah Street, which was called Sepah Street during the Reza Shah period.

At the beginning of 1304, the establishment of the first banking institution in the country was planned and the executors of this decree formed a council of knowledgeable people and succeeded in opening the first Iranian capital bank called Pahlavi Bank of the Army in several shops located in Sepah Street, Tehran.

خیابان امام خمینی از خیابان‌های مرکزی تهران است. این خیابان شرقی-غربی است و از شرق به میدان امام خمینی (توپخانه) و از غرب به بزرگراه یادگار امام ختم می‌شود. این خیابان به افتخار سید روح الله خمینی نخستین رهبر جمهوری اسلامی ایران نام گذاری شده است.

در دوره قاجار این خیابان نخست خیابان مریضخانه و سپس خیابان باغ شاه خوانده می‌شد که در دوره رضاشاه، خیابان سپه نام گرفت.

در آغاز سال ۱۳۰۴، ایجاد نخستین موسسه بانکی کشور طرح‌ریزی شد و مأمورین اجرای این فرمان با تشکیل شورایی از افراد مطلع موفق شدند در چند مغازه واقع در خیابان سپه تهران نخستین بانک باسرمایه ایرانی را موسوم به بانک پهلوی قشون افتتاح نمودند.
