Shahid Modarres Highway (formerly the Imperial Highway) is a highway in the north and center of Tehran that extends north-south. This highway is approximately 9 km long. This highway starts in the north of Parkway Bridge and is located along the east of Shahid Chamran Highway, after Parkway Bridge. This highway ends at Haft Tir Square. The construction of Modares Highway and Parkway Bridge dates back to 1349. This highway was called "Imperial Highway" before the 1978 Iranian Revolution

Part of this highway is located in district 3 of Tehran municipality and the rest is the border separating districts 1 of Tehran municipality, 3 municipalities of Tehran, 6 municipalities of Tehran and 7 municipalities of Tehran. Along its route from north to south, this highway passes through Elahieh, Zargandeh, Kavsieh, Vanak and Abbasabad neighborhoods, and along its route from north to south, it intersects with Ayatollah Sadr, Shahid Haqqani, Shahid Hemmat and Shahid Qasem Soleimani highways. And is connected to them by uneven bridges and intersections. The intersection of this highway with Shahid Hemmat Highway is called Fajr Bridge. This highway is also connected to Zafar streets, Mirdamad boulevard, Abbasabad and Takht Tavous by underpasses and overpasses.
