This highway complements the development of the highway network in the west of Tehran and the creation of new entrance gates for this area of ​​the capital, and with the start of operation of this project on August 29, 2017, we will see a reduction in traffic load on the highways between Tehran and Karaj. Shahid Hamedani Highway route has 10 non-level intersections including Kuhak, Kaj, Golha streets, Iran Khodro Boulevard, Wardavard River, Pajuhesh Boulevard, Ardestani Street, as well as intersections connecting local roads in District 22.
