شول، روستایی است از توابع بخش مرکزی شهرستان گناوه استان بوشهر ایران.
شول گَپ (شول بزرگ) به نقل فارسنامه ٔ ناصری از نظر تاریخی نام قصبه ٔ گناوه به فارس بوده است.
بازار گناوه بازار بزرگی است که هر ساله میزبان هزاران نفر از مردم سرتاسر ایران است که برای خرید به این شهر می‌آیند.

گناوه کنونی در ساحل خلیج فارس و میان بوشهر بندر دیلم به فاصله هیجده کیلومتری شرق خور امام حسن واقع است شهرستان گناوه قدیم در یک نیم دایره در جانب شمالی شهر کنونی براین شهر محیط می‌باشد از گناوه قدیم نقاطی باقی‌مانده که امروزه بنامهای تیرسول به معنی شن فشرده و یکپارچه در زبان محلی و عبدامام وتل گوری، تل مناره، بتن؛ و بالاخره تل امام زاده خوانده می‌شود هر یک از این نقاط دارای گذشته‌های دوراست که ویرانی‌های قدیم را درخود جای داده‌است.
اکثر ساکنین گناوه شیعه و اقلیتی سنی هستند.

انسان‌های اولیه از پوست حیوانات به عنوان زیرانداز خود استفاده می‌کردند. به مرور زمان با اهلی کردن حیواناتی که دارای پوست پشمی بودند و نیز با به دست آوردن تجربه کافی در ساختن ابزارهای لازم، پشم حیوانات اهلی را ریسیدند و گلیم‌های ساده را که نخستین زیراندازهای تار و پودی بودند را بافتند. بعدها بر اساس تجربه و تلاش، انواع زیراندازها را بافتند که یکی از آن‌ها گبه می‌باشد.[۱] گبه یا قالیچه خرسک فرشی از جنس قالی است که معمولاً در اندازه کوچک توسط عشایر لر و قشقایی بافته می‌شود.
گبه پرزهای بلند دارد و در بافت آن شمار پود بیشتری به کار می‌رود که تأثیر چشمگیری بر نرمی گبه می‌گذارد. تعداد پود برخی از گبه‌ها گاهی از سه تا هشت پود در هر رج و بلندی پرزها گاهی تا یک سانتی‌متر هم می‌رسد.
وزن گبه بطور متوسط در هر متر مربع ۳ کیلوگرم می باشد.

Bushehr lies in a vast plain running along the coastal region on the Persian Gulf coast of south-western Iran. It is built near the ancient port city of Rishahr (Sassanian, Riv Ardasher). It was the chief seaport of the country and is the administrative centre of its province. Its location is about 1,218 kilometres (757 mi) south of Tehran. Bushehr has a desert climate.

Bushehr was the main trade center of Iran in the past centuries. The city structures are traditional in style, modest in proportion and cost. Due to its lack of rail connection to the interior of the country and its shallow anchorage, it has lost its position as the primary port of Iran.
