نان خامه‌ای یا پروفیترول نوعی شیرینی به شکل توپ است که از خمیر پفی تهیه شده و داخل آن از خامهٔ زده شده، کرم کاستارد و بستنی پر می‌شود. این نوع شیرینی ممکن است ساده باشد یا بوسیلهٔ سس شکلات، پودر قند و یا کارامل تزئین شود. در بسیاری از منابع شمال ایتالیا به عنوان منشأ اصلی آن نام برده شده‌است. در برخی از مراسم با روی هم چیدن نان خامه‌ای آن را به شکل هرم در آورده و برای تزئین بکار می‌برند.

A profiterole , cream puff, is a filled French choux pastry ball with a typically sweet filling of whipped cream, pastry cream, custard, or (particularly in the US) ice cream. The puffs may be decorated or left plain or garnished with chocolate sauce, caramel, or a dusting of powdered sugar. Savory profiterole are also made, filled with pureed meats, cheese, and so on. These were formerly common garnishes for soups.
The various names may be associated with particular variants of filling or sauce in different places
