INGREDIENTS
4 Eggs
300ml Double Cream
1 tsp baking powder
250g Butter
1tbsp Cardamom
Black and White Sesame seeds
1 tbsp Salt
1 tbsp Sugar
1 tbsp yeast
1 KG Flour
PREPARATION
1. Mic Together 1 tbsp yeast, 1 tbsp Sugar, 1/2 cup warm water, 1 tbsp flour and then stir. Place a cover over the bowl and put the mixture aside for 10 Minutes.
2. Whisk together 4 Eggs, 250g Butter, 300ml Double Cream and the mixture prepared in step 1.
3. Mix together 1 KG flour, 1 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp cardamom, 1 tbsp Baking Powder.
4. Add the mixture prepared in step 2 to the mixture prepared in step 3.
5. Knead the mixture into dough.
6. Place Cling Film and a towel over the bowl containing the dough and leave for 1.5 - 2 hours
7. After 1.5-2 hours knead the dough a little more before cutting it into 10-12 chunks.
8. Shape the chunks of dough into balls.
9. Flatten the balls of dough. Careful not to make it too thin.
10. Cut out circles from flattened dough.
11. carefully prepare the dough as shown in the video and place in oven tray.
12. Cover the oven tray containing the prepared dough with a towel and leave for 30 Minutes.
13. cover the dough with a mixture of egg yolk and milk.
14. Spinkle your preferred amount of sesame seeds on the dough and place the tray in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 180°C.
