Tehran has optically changed a lot in recent years. Among the few buildings still standing from the early century is the city gate. They caught everyone's attention because they are simply rare, sweet and give us an idea of how Tehran used to look like.
The national garden gate or the Sar Dare Baghe Melli is the only gate still standing and anything outside this gate was not a part of the capital Tehran some hundred years ago. Inside the spectacular gate we find the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Museum and Tehran University of Art.
