Speech and performance by Shahrzad Sepanlou The memorial of Muhammad Ali Sepanlou

Mohammad-Ali Sepanlou (November 20, 1940 – May 11, 2015) was an Iranian poet and literary critic.
Born in Tehran, he has been a co-founder, a member of the executive board, and editor of the journal of the Writers' Association of Iran, in which capacity has opposed both the former regime of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, speaking out against censorship.
Sepanlou received his diploma from Dar ul-Funun high school. He graduated from Tehran University's Faculty of Law in 1963. He is the father of singer Shahrzad Sepanlou. He died in Tehran in 2015.

. برنامه یادبود محمد علی سپانلو روز شنبه 30 می با همکاری کوشندگان فرهنگی و اجتماعی و دانشگاه یو سی ال ای و به همت خانواده محمد علی سپانلو با حضور تعداد قابل توجهی از دوستان و آشنایان سپانلو و علاقمندان به فرهنگ و هنر ایران برگزار شد.در این برنامه تعدادی از دوستان قدیمی سپانلو به بیان خاطرات خود درباره سپانلو پرداختند و تعدادی از شاعران نیز به شعرخوانی پرداختند. همچنین شهرزاد سپانلو دختر شاعر دقایقی درباره پدرش صحبت کرد و شعر بلوار میرداماد را برای حاضرین در برنامه اجرا کرد.
