Tehran to Damavand Road 4K, IRAN, September 2021 | ایران، تهران تا دماوند

Damavand is one of the cities of Tehran province and the center of Damavand city. Damavand Municipality was established in 1913. Damavand and its surroundings have been registered as No. 56 in the national monuments of Iran on September 15, 1941 and have also been selected as a model city for tourism in Iran. This city has emerged from the growth and development of Damavand town, which is located in a straight line at a distance of 25 km southeast of Damavand Mountain and 74 km east of Tehran. The height of this city is 1960 meters above sea level and it is drunk by several rivers, one from the east which originates from Tar lake and the other from the northwest which originates from Mosha and Tizab and after joining each other, they form Damavand river.

دماوند یکی از شهرهای استان تهران و مرکز شهرستان دماوند است. شهرداری دماوند در سال ۱۳۱۲ تأسیس شد. دماوند و اطراف آن به شماره ۵۶ در آثار ملی ایران در ۲۴ شهریور ۱۳۱۰ ثبت و همچنین به عنوان شهر نمونه گردشگری ایران نیز برگزیده شده‌ است. این شهر از رشد و توسعه قصبه دماوند به وجود آمده‌است، که به خط مستقیم در فاصله ۲۵ کیلومتری جنوب شرقی کوه دماوند و ۷۴ کیلومتری شرق شهر تهران قرار دارد. ارتفاع این شهر از سطح دریا ۱۹۶۰ متر و توسط چند رود مشروب می‌شود، یکی از مشرق که از دریاچه تار سرچشمه می‌گیرد و دیگری از شمال غربی که از مشا و تیزاب سرچشمه گرفته و پس از پیوستن به یکدیگر رود دماوند را تشکیل می‌دهند.
