INGREDIENTS:

Corn flour - to prevent the dough from sticking
Sesame seed - for decoration
Rose water - 3 TBSP
Egg - 1
Salt - 1 TSP
Butter - 1/4 Cup
Milk - 200ml
Self Raising Flour - 4 Cup
Water - 2 Cup
Sugar - 4 Cup

PREPARATION
1. Mix the self raising flour and salt in a bowl and create a crater in the middle for the wet ingredients.
2. In the center of the flour and salt mix add in the egg, melted butter, rose water and milk. Knead this for 10 mins and rest for another 10 mins.
3.While the dough is resting create the syrup. In a pan pour in the water and add in the sugar. Stir and once it has come to a boiling point let it boil for 3 mins and turn off the heat.
4. Get the dough and create all the 'leaf/feathers' and then fry them for 1.5 mins on each side and soak them in the syrup for 2 mins.
