INGREDIENTS:

Corn Flour - 1 Cup
Flour - 2 Cups
Yogurt - 1/3 Cup
Water - 1 & 1/2 Cup
Butter - 1 Tbsp
Food Colouring - 1/2 Tsp
Baking Powder - 1 Tsp

Syrup:

Water - 2 Cups
Sugar - 4 Cups
Rose Water - 2 Tbsp
Lemon - 1 Tbsp

PREPARATION
1. In a bowl add the flour, corn flour and baking powder. Mix this to incorporate everything and then add the butter and yoghurt.
2. When everything is mixed together add the water little by little until you get a consistency similar to what is seen in the video. Throw in the food colouring to add a shade to enhance the 'Jalebi' Colour
3. Let this rest for 15 minutes and as it is resting make the syrup.
4. For the syrup take a pan and add the water and sugar. Once the sugar has dissolved in the water add the lemon and let this boil for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat and lastly throw in the rose water. Take the lemon out and place it to the side for it to slightly cool.
5. In a frying pan add in the oil and once it is heated up, turn the flame down to medium heat.
6. Draw a pattern in the frying pan and fry each side for 1.5 minutes and then place it in the syrup for 1 - 2.
7. ENJOY
